unti 38

1 - (0:00:01) When he trips over the curb, we will physically get someone to trip over the curb.
2 - When he is walking into the shop we will make footsteps so them it looks like he is walking and when you watch you can hear the cliping sound.
3 - (0:00:10) For the scratch on the head we will scrap on the something or get someone to scratch there head to make it sound realistic.
4 - For the fridge noise the best way to do this will be to put the recorder in a fridge for 10 seconds so then it will get a buzzing sound. As a back up if we couldn't get a fridge then we will have to get someone to make a humming/buzzing noise.
5 - When he skids on the floor i will get a trainer squeaking in the floor like he has slipped.
6 - For when the freezer shuts there will be a slap for when the freezer shuts
when he comes to the counter, will have a bag of coins so it sounds like he is looking for the correct change.
7 - Before he enters the shop there is a man running past him so we will use footsteps to show him running and use panning to show him running from the right to the left hand side of the screen.
8 - when you see the zombies in the background

Tom and Jerry - Soundtrack

Notes for Soundtrack - Tom and Jerry

Try useing a glass with quick action  to re create the opening scene.
as tom grabs the glass, I'm off to re create this by grabbing a glass and then quickly removing my hand to create the effect of someone of garbing a glass quickly.

the running scene were tom is running across the room,
I'm off to use nails a cross a laminate floor to re create this,or if this effect does not produce this,a other option would be to use hands clawing  at a laminate floor

on the next scene tom runs very quickly to chase the mouse
dry feet on a floor to create this effect

to re-create for the mouse running to the jar, thinking of using  finger pop into mouth to create this or some suction of a jar.

for the scene were the mouse runs into the pie,was simply use some object in a pie to create this effect
pie smashed for pie effect,

for the dogs drinking again I'm using literal interoperation of the scene to create this by recording dogs drinking water

for the end gun noise's,using fan powder snaps, for a snap noise

using added cartoon noise fx to add some humour and slap stick,to keep the sound within cartoon theme.
using some effects as.

to re-create some sounds, but kept to a minimal, using only sounds which can not be creating using foley sounds techniques.

for example the running scene, you need special sound effect equipment to effetely create this sound and the cartoon "wah wah "sound you need a instrument or some special effect broad to create this.

Foley

Foley Sound

Foley sound is sound which is added to the film,to add extra sound to a film to enhance movements and define each motion and any action within the movie, foley is a diagetic sound and is a relation to what a appearing in the scene.

foley is use to prevent copyright and to create the correct sounds for the movement within the film.jack Donavon foley started what is know as foley art which is to complement or replace sound recorded.

a foley artist produces sound though using various props to create sounds effects for the movies.

Diegetic Sound

Diegetic sound is voices from characters, sound from objects, chairs, doors, punches, footsteps, sound which you can see the source of for example if a character shuts a door and you hear it that would a diagetic sound, and voices from character it self.

An example of this would be the sound effects and character dialogue from Batman - Joker interrogation scene

Non-Diegetic Sound

Non-diagetic sound is sound which is not from the context of the scene such as a narrators commentary or a soundtrack to the film.

An example of this would be the narration of Social network facemash scene

In this scene from the film "the shawshank redemption" morgan freeman narrators  commentary is non-diagetic as although he is in the scene, you can not see him speaking so that sound is non-diagetic.the sound from the record playing is diagetic because you can see it playing into a microphone, even when the screen cuts out to the yard, you still have seen the source of sound reminds a diagetic sound, this is a good example of diagetic sound and non diagetic sound.
